ACIP attends the AIPA 2015 Annual Conference

From 27th to 29th March 2015, ASEAN Intellectual Property Association 2015 Annual Conference (AIPA 2015) was held at Bangkok, Thailand. Ms. Zhang Ya and Ms. Zhao Zhiyuan, representatives of ACIP, were invited to attend this conference.
As the most important intellectual property rights conference in Southeast Asia, this conference attracted more than 150 representatives from 10 ASEAN member countries including Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. At the opening ceremony, Minister of intellectual property rights in Thailand, President of the International Trademark Association (INTA), and head of the International Intellectual Property Protection Association (AIPPI) delivered prominent speeches respectively.  
During the conference, representatives of ACIP exchanged views with intellectual property counterparts from various countries on the legal matters concerning trademark litigation and trademarks development in China and Southeast Asian countries and reached a preliminary cooperation intention with several outstanding law firms. 
After the conference, Ms. Vivian ZHANG and Ms. Lancy ZHAO visited our business partner Trademark 2U, a law firm located at Bangkok, Thailand. They summarized the problems encountered in the process of cooperation and introduced the latest legal development of China to further deepen the mutually cooperative exchanges.
