ACIP and China Trademark Association co-organize Trademark Application Training

On May 28th, 2015, the trademark application training held by China Trademark Association in Guangzhou,was co-organized by ACIP. Experts from the State Administration for Industry and Trademark Office, Trademark Review and Adjudication Board and trademark examination collaborating centers were invited to give lessons on trademark application, dispute case review and documents format.  Participants including intellectual property legal staff, trademark attorneys and other relevant staff took part in the training course. 

Ever since the implementation of the new Trademark Law one year ago, prominent problems involving redundant registration procedure, bad faith registrations and trademark infringement have been significantly improved. The rights of trademark owners are protected and the fairness market order is further safeguarded to enhance the innovation and development of enterprises. However, some problems still occur in the implementation of the new law. The aim of this training is to help relevant personnel have a better understanding of the trademark knowledge to further improve their professional competence.
