Xiaoyue (Shelley) ZHENG

Shelley ZHENG has been practicingIP law in China for more than 20 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of Physics from TsinghuaUniversityin 1991. She engaged intechnical research work in enterprises from 1991 to 1995, during which she wasonce assigned to work inParisfor one year. Ms. Zheng got the qualification of patent agent in 1996, thequalification of trademark agent in 1998 and the qualification of lawyer in2000. From 1996 to 1997, Ms. Zheng worked in thepatent management department of a medical equipment company, in charge ofdomestic and foreign patent drafting, filing and managing affairs. From 1998 to1999, she worked in the Shenzhen Office of a foreign-related patent &trademark agency, in charge of patent agent department. Since 2000, Ms. Zheng becamefounder and partner of Advance China I.P. Law Office.

Ms. ZHENG is familiar with patent practicein enterprises and has rich experience on handling patent prosecution,invalidation and litigation. She is specialized in fields of physics,telecommunication, electronics and mechanics. Ms. Zheng is a member of FICPI,being active in international I.P. activities and familiar with updateinternational progress in I.P. field. And Ms. Zheng often act as a teachergiving lectures in training classes organized by All-China Patent AttorneysAssociation.

Ms. ZHENG has provided services for many foreign companiesas well as well-known domestic clients, including Siemens, EOS, Gree, Elec-Techand etc.

Ms. ZHENG is a co-author of the book “Prosecution Strategiesfor Foreign and China’s Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Patent Applications”published by Intellectual Property Publishing House in August 2018.
