Katharine Qin has practiced in the field ofIntellectual Property for over 10 years. In 2005, she began her career inpracticing Intellectual Property in an IP firm in Shenzhen. In 2014, Katharinejoined Advance China IP Law Office (ACIP).

 

Katharine has extensive experience inpatent procedure management, and she now works in the International PatentDepartment of ACIP and is responsible for PCT applications, outgoing patentcases. She is familiar with the patent systems in CN, US, EP, JP, KR, HK, MO,TW and other countries or regions, and can providing patent filing strategy forclients for domestic and foreign patent applications.

 

Katharine has participated in draftingarticles of Intellectual Property environment research in some foreigncountries organized by CNIPA and undertaken by ACIP, including “Study on IntellectualProperty Environmental in Australia and New Zealand”, “Study on IntellectualProperty Environmental in Mongolia” and “Study on Intellectual PropertyEnvironmental in Latin America”. The article “Will the Australian Innovation PatentSystem go to the "End”?”, written by Katharine, has been published on Issue141 of China IP Magazine.
