ACIP Attends the 139th INTA Annual Meeting

The International Trademark Association (INTA) is the global association of trademark owners and professionals. It is literally the largest trademark organization in the world, gathering IP practitioners from various countries and foreign enterprises.
From May 20th to May 24th 2017, the 139th Annual Meeting of INTA was held at Barcelona, Spain that has been the largest INTA Annual Meeting over the past 138 years. ACIP sent out delegation of 8 members headed by Mr. Jie HU to attend the meeting. The delegation conducted extensive communications in the field of trademark and intellectual property with professionals from more than 200 countries and regions and established closer business ties with international IP experts.

The 5-day activities were consisted of 300+ educational sessions, 100+ committee meeting and 30+ networking receptions, and attracted 10,668 registrants, not to mention other participants.
This year, we arranged meetings with over 80 partners and colleagues at home and abroad to discuss issues concerning the latest intellectual property development and strategy for international corporations in China, and other related IP topics. During these meetings, we introduced its development, shared and exchanged views with peers in depth and strengthened mutual trust to build greater cooperation.

Meeting with Colleagues and New Friends
ACIP hosts reception during INTA annual meeting every year. At the biggest reunions of IP experts this year, ACIP’s reception was held at The Alaire Terrace of the Hotel Condes sitting in the bustling Passeig de Gràcia. It has wonderful Spanish cuisine and a unique view of modernist Barcelona to provide an awesome night to our colleagues and friends.
